Study Information
NZCR is New Zealand’s leading provider of early-phase research into medicines. NZCR are leading researchers in kidney health. We research potential medicines in controlled trials that meet rigorous safety and assessment criteria, in a controlled clinical setting under the care of our experienced research team.
NZCR is taking part in a Phase 2, Multicentre, Open-Label Study to evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of the investigational drug (JADE101) in participants with Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN).
Clinical trials involve an investigational drug and some study assessments, in a controlled clinical setting under the care of our experienced research team. Participation may involve risks. We will provide a study information sheet for more information, including potential risks and benefits.
This study (JADE101-02) is being funded by Jade Biosciences, Inc. The study has been approved by the Health and Disability Ethics Committee and the Standing Committee on Therapeutic Trials (SCOTT).
Requirements
- Aged between 18 – 60 years
- Diagnosed with IgAN (confirmed with a kidney biopsy within the last 5 years)
- Taking stable doses of ACE inhibitor or angiotensin receptor blocker (such as Lisinopril, Enalapril, Losartan or Valsartan)

What is Involved?
Study Visits: Up to 18 clinic visits
Payment: $150 before tax per visit, plus reasonable travel costs
